Sassafras Group client, Carbon Blue, recently energised an 81 kW peak PV system on the roof of the McDonalds restaurant outside Yass. The system went live in July and is now providing around 25% of the sites electricity needs.  The system uses 405W Trina modules and an 82.8 KW Solar Edge Inverter.  Solar Edge is an excellent choice for this application as there are many facets to the roof meaning that regardless of orientation, The output from each PV module is optimised.  Sassafras group provided system design, network application and installation instructions for this project.
